Margaret
Innis has done a fantastic
job of promoting the Dewey Color Courses,
and her students have given her more
than stellar reviews!
She
has trained over 300+ ASP Stagers
throughout New England, as well as
mentored over 100+ women entrepreneurs
throughout the same area. Her award-winning
real estate and Staging career of
over 16 years has allowed her to work
with hundreds of homeowners and thousands
of properties — both commercial
and residential.
With
an interest in architecture, travel,
feng shui and a love of houses —
large and small, Margaret has been
involved in numerous home transformations
and has seen how the value of color
provides a positive experience for
all involved in the real estate transaction.
Margarett
has a great tip to add to the color
lab portion of the Day-One course.
She buys small, white-stretched canvases
for her students to paint their color
lab on. The canvases run about a $1.00
each and her students love them! Margarett
also has small stands to put them
on after they've been painted, to
show them off. What a great idea!!!

GOLD |
| |
As a home furnishing
accessory or
a new metallic
runway fashion,
gold is hot!
Consider using
gold accessories
in a metallic
finish to add
sparkle to a
table setting
or to rejuvenate
boring beige
walls. It’s
a natural blend
with bamboo,
and therefore
a tasteful way
to add pizzazz
to eco-friendly
"green"
designs.
In
this period
of economic
downturn, Gold
can be viewed
as a refuge.
|
|
It
encourages a more
thoughtful, even
playful mood.
Our scientifically
validated testing
systems suggests
that surrounding
yourself with
gold frees your
mind, makes you
more resourceful,
even better able
to control compulsive
eating disorders.

| Q. |
“Does
taking the One-Day course
make someone Dewey Certified?” |
| |
–
Irene Woodworth, DCI |
| a. |
No!
Students who complete
the One-Day course are
certified to use the Coordinator.
To be certified as a Consultant,
and have the ability to
do in-home color consultations,
Day Two, which teaches
the Dewey Consultant process,
is also required.
Day
One is being especially
requested by groups and
retail stores who are
taking advantage of the
volume discount. The volume
discounts kicks in at
10, 25, 50, and 100 participants.
This is a great incentive
for Instructors to enlist
larger classes, even team-teach
with other Instructors.
Is
being Dewey Certified
now a bit confusing? Not
really. We're teaching
two different skills.
Here is how it works.
| • |
Day-One
Course
Dewey Coordinator
certification is given
when a person learns
how to use the Dewey
Color Coordinator
to select best color
combinations. Here
we teach how to skillfully
use the Coordinator. |
| • |
Day-One
and Day-Two Course
Dewey Color Consultant
certification is given
when a person demonstrates
that they can effectively
give a home color
consultation. Here
we teach the Dewey
Consultant Process.

Yes,
I've been busy on your behalf spreading the word,
getting Affiliate Partners, plus new interest and
excitement for WMCE. Thanks to everyone for your advice!
Together we have made our Course the best color course
— EVER. And please feel free to add to your
emails and notes, "Have a Colorful Day."
I would like to encourage all of you to get more involved
in 2008. Yes we are in for more economic challenges,
but it still can be a very colorful year. Only YOU
can make that choice. Get out there and make it happen!
Pessimistic thoughts only take up precious time and
energy. Negative energy attracts negative people.
Turn it around.
